Reuters has some more details on Apple’s Cocktail project to release interactive digital albums. It implies they’ll be sold as apps for iPhone and iPod touch – as well as Apple’s rumoured new tablet device – and suggests that rather than drive greater digital album sales, the initiative is all about being able to charge existing buyers more for albums thanks to the extra elements – including photos, videos, lyrics and other assets.
