Roger Ames, the highly experienced music boss who ran EMI Music North America and last year, has been made chief executive of international operations for Ticketmaster. Born in Trinidad, Ames has been based in London for several years and will head up Ticketmaster’s non-US operations from the Ticketmaster London office. Previous to his EMI appointment Ames had been chief executive of Warner Music until 2004 and earlier helmed Polygram UK, now part of Universal.
