Social games firm OMGPOP has launched Hit Machine, a web music game which is being compared to console title Rock Band. Hit Machine lets people play using their computer keyboards, complete with online multiplayer options. 65 licensed tracks are available to play, from labels including Epitaph, Vice Records and Nettwerk – OMGPOP has avoided JamLegend’s controversial feature of letting players upload any MP3 they want to play along to.
