YouTube is making another leap into livecasting, with plans to stream the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival from San Francisco this weekend. It’ll include performances from the likes of Dave Matthews Band, Tenacious D, Jason Mraz and Black Eyed Peas. The live sets will be streamed for US YouTube users only, but it’s the latest example of YouTube’s ambitions in the webcasting space. Or at least the latest example that it’s keen to experiment in this area.
