Streaming music service Pandora is on track to generate $40 million of revenues this year, according to founder Tim Westergren, who claims revenues have already doubled in the last year and has signed up more than 30 million registered users. Westergren says the figures back up the company’s shift early in its life from a pure subscription model to a free ad-funded service.
