Here’s a quote to conjure with: “At Microsoft Research, I have colleagues working on tongue-based interaction, bionic contacts lenses, a muscle-computer interface, and brain-computer interaction.” That’s from Microsoft’s Mary Czerwinski, in a column for VentureBeat on new user interfaces. The muscle-computer interface could apparently help people control their music players even when their hands are occupied with other objects, via straps on their forearms that detect muscle movement. Futurology-tastic.
