
Snoop Dogg is the new “Creative Chairman” of EMI’s Priority Records label, while his manager Ted Chung is “Brand Strategist”. That means EMI will have the next Snoop studio album, but also that the rapper will “drive efforts to maximize untapped digital and branding opportunities” while also overseeing Priority’s 25th anniversary re-releases next year. “The business model we’ve developed will bring the musical heritage of groups like N.W.A. to the forefront,” says Snoop.
