Mobile analytics firm Bango says brands should not ignore the increasing number of BlackBerry users who are doing more with their handsets than just email. “With all the buzz surrounding the Apple iPhone and the rush to capitalise on its success, many companies fail to realise that over three times more consumers browse the web from a BlackBerry,” says CEO Ray Anderson. “”The global smartphone race is well under way, but it is the BlackBerry that is the Usain Bolt out in front.” Something to ponder for companies making music apps and sites, perhaps.
