US firm Arbor Networks sells traffic management technology to ISPs, so it should have a good view on what kind of traffic those ISPs are getting. It’s just released a report claiming that P2P accounts for 15-20% of all North American internet traffic. Compare this to a separate study two years ago that claimed P2P traffic was 37% of all North American traffic.
