UK game developers trade body TIGA says it wants to foster closer links with the music industry, via its new Creative Industry Switch community. It wants to help developers in the process of signing licensing deals or working with companies in the music industry on game ideas. “Games consoles are becoming more and more important for the music industry (and vice versa) with new music services on PS3 and Xbox and the success of titles like Beatles Rock Band and SingStar,” says TIGA’s spokesperson. “Currently, there is no one single place for the music industry and the games industry to meet online.”
