Online TV site Hulu is more on the music industry’s radar now, following reports in recent months that it’s keen to add music videos to its stable of US TV shows. This may help its negotiations with the labels: the hitherto purely ad-funded service is reportedly running a beta test of an additional subscription model where users pay to watch Hulu’s video content. Meanwhile, Hulu has also got social, launching a Facebook app that lets people watch new shows while commenting on them in their Facebook profile.
