Another artist getting the App Store treatment is Warner Bros band New Boyz, whose iJerkin app has just gone live. It streams tracks from the band’s new album as well as videos, but the big draw is its interactive feature. Users can create their own video for the band’s You’re A Jerk hit by manipulating the band members on-screen, choosing which dance moves they use. The resulting video can then be shared on social networks. The free app fits in well with the band itself – the song became a hit thanks to fans uploading their own interpretations of the original video’s dance to YouTube this summer.
