The latest round in the battle for social network supremacy appears to be Twitter integration. Facebook recently launched a new app allowing people running Facebook Pages (for example for bands) to automatically update their Twitter feeds from within Facebook. Now MySpace has hit back with full two-way sync with Twitter – MySpace users can now have their status updates automatically posted to Twitter with a link back to their profile, but also have their tweets appear in their MySpace activity stream. Is all this a bit nerdy? Well, yes, but with most bands active on all three sites, new ways to link them will be welcome. According to a press release sent out by MySpace this morning, its new Twitter sync is already being used by Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Slash and Chamillionaire.
