The Featured Artists Coalition is holding a meeting in London tonight to discuss the current debate around file-sharing, inviting artists to attend to “hammer out a unified position on this issue”. The event comes as Lily Allen has continued to publish the views of artists on her new It’s Not Alright blog, with Alesha Dixon, Mark Ronson, Glasvegas, the Futureheads and Keane all represented. But Lily herself is facing more criticism, with Techdirt highlighting the fact that two free MP3 mixtapes are available on the star’s own EMI-hosted site featuring (presumably unlicensed) music from non-EMI artists.
