That’s right: Rocktober. The Guitar Hero publisher apparently trademarked the term back in 2007, but has only just deployed it in press releases unveiling the downloadable content for its games this month – complete with a TM symbol. It could lead to an intriguing spat with rival publisher EA, which has been using the same word to promote its new Brutal Legend game. And what is the Guitar Hero DLC? Queen, Nickelback, Smashing Pumpkins, Foreigner and – this one’s pretty good – Ram Jam’s Black Betty.
