7Digital announced that it was working on an MP3 music store for BlackBerry handsets a while ago, but it’s now available on the BlackBerry App World. The store is offering DRM-free tracks for download over 3G or Wi-Fi, and the app has a built-in media player to play them too. Right now, it’s available in five countries – the US, UK, Italy, Germany and Spain – but only for three handsets, the Bold 9000, Curve 8900 and Tour 9630. In the US, it will compete with Thumbplay’s music store, which launched in August.
