Apple-focused website iLounge has published “ten new details on the Apple tablet“, claiming they come from a source who earlier correctly predicted Apple’s nano 5G and iPhone 3GS. It suggests that the tablet device has a 10.7-inch screen, runs the iPhone OS and looks like a big iPhone 3G, and will have five times the resolution of an iPhone. What’s more, the article suggests it is meant for e-books and magazines, apps and gaming, web browsing and music/video, rather than competing with netbooks. It will be announced in mid-January and go on sale in May or June, but only if it gets the final green light from CEO Steve Jobs. So there you have it.
