A new piece of research claims that 11% of Swedes are continuing to download copyrighted content after the introduction of IPRED law earlier this year, while 25% of 15-29 year-olds are doing so. 76% of existing file-sharers say they haven’t been intimidated by IPRED, but 16% of all respondents say they have stopped illegal downloading completely since the law came into force. On the legal services side, 27% say they are happy with the existing legal music services, while 46% say they would stop file-sharing if provided with better alternatives.
