87% of US teenagers own an iPod, while 15% own an iPhone. A further 22% of the teens plan on buying an iPhone in the next six months, indicating that its $99 price point in the US has led to significant growth in this age group. Only 40% of teens legally buy music online, of whom 93% get it from iTunes, while 57% get their music from P2P networks, down from 64% two years ago. 38% say they would consider paying $15 a month for an online music subscription.
