Labels and artists can now get cracking on turning their tracks into Rock Band downloads, after developer Harmonix released the toolset and documentation for its Rock Band Network. The tools include a plug-in for the REAPER digital studio software, and a dedicated upload tool for Rock Band Network called MAGMA. The new initiative is designed to make many more songs available as downloads for the Rock Band games, by letting labels and artists do it themselves rather than rely on Harmonix.
