BBC Mobile is producing mobile content around its Electric Proms series of gigs, including a Java app for Dizzee Rascal. It’s a soundboard, including a bunch of samples from his best-known tunes. BBC Mobile is also launching a dedicated mobile site for the concerts, including interviews, photo galleries, setlists and Twitter updates. It’s worth noting that the Dizzee app is Java rather than iPhone – the Beeb’s public service nature requires it to reach as wide an audience as possible with its digital projects.
