The Spanish Coalition of Creators and Content Industries has compiled a list of 200 websites offering links to illegal downloads, which it plans to present to the government as part of its consultation into anti-piracy measures. “Spain is the only country in the world with no legal, civil or administrative measures in place to combat this problem,” says president Aldo Olcese. Meanwhile, the Spanish CoPeerRight Agency has claimed that the average commercial illegal downloads site can make as much as €1.5 million a year from advertising and other income.
