First Last.fm shone a spotlight on unsigned bands, then we7 recently introduced its own programme for emerging acts… Now MySpace Music is at it, with a newly-announced “Introducing” scheme. It will offer new artists promotional space on the MySpace Music homepage, playlists, video footage and MySpace Secret Shows. However, it looks like it’s not really about unsigned acts, since Warner Brothers artist Lights was the guinea pig for the new scheme. Others taking part now it’s live include Sherwood, We The Kings, Kid Sister and Serena Ryder. All will get a 12-week package of promotional activity on the site.
