One of the more web-savvy UK artists has turned tail and fled – Lily Allen has stopped updating her Twitter feed, abandoned Facebook, and even chucked out her PC, MacBook and BlackBerry according to The Register. Her last tweet hinted at her new direction – “I am a neo-luddite, goodbye”. And here’s the weird thing: rather than anger at the recent hoo-ha over her anti-piracy blog, it seems her boyfriend was the cause. “He’s like: ”I want to spend some time with you, do we have to have one and a half million people in the room with us?” she says. Regular readers may remember Miley Cyrus ditching Twitter recently for similar reasons.
