The top five in terms of global market share is now Nokia (37.3%), Samsung (20.7%), LG (19.9%), Sony Ericsson (4.9%) and Motorola (4.7%) – Apple holds 2.5%. Nokia’s share didn’t fall that much year-on-year – it was down from 38.8% in Q3 2008. Samsung and LG were the big gainers, mainly at the expense of Sony Ericsson and Motorola.
