Online radio market will be worth $441 million this year, up 12% compared to 2008. However, it predicts even steeper growth next year – up 20% to $530 million. The report points out that this is dependent on the wider economic climate, though – although online radio is gaining some ads and sponsorship at the expense of broadcast radio, it could still suffer if confidence takes a while to return to the advertising market as a whole.
