Topspin CEO Ian Rogers has announced that he has a new sideline: co-managing a band called Get Busy Committee. “Being the CEO of Topspin and *not* having experience managing a band is like running Flickr and not taking photos,” he says. “I knew I needed to get my hands really dirty to take my thinking about the challenges which face Topspin’s clients every day to the next level.” The band are self-releasing their debut album using Topspin’s digital marketing and distribution platform, and Rogers says he’ll blog the whole process in an effort to provide helpful advice for other managers.
