It’s getting legal in the world of Auto-Tune app for iPhone, with Antares Audo Tech – the official owner of the voice-manipulating tech, setting its lawyers on a company called Steamboat Mountain Designs. The latter released an iPhone app called AutoTuner, offering similar features to the officially-licensed Auto-Tune app I Am T-Pain. AutoTuner has since been renamed as Robotuner, so it seems trademark infringement rather than actual patent infringement was the problem.
