The Daily Star – admittedly one of Britain’s more colourful tabloids – is claiming that Michael Jackson had detailed three dimensional digital scans taken of his body “in a bizarre effort to build a robot twin”. The scans were made in 1996 as part of preparations for the creation of a virtual reality digital avatar, but came to light only recently when the owner attempted to sell them for GBP £1 million.
