ReAdmittedly, it’s another award from BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion, but still. 7digital and its developer partner DevelopIQ walked away with the Entertainment on BlackBerry prize at the BlackBerry Alliance Program EMEA Innovation Awards late last week. The news follows the app’s recent win at RIM’s main BlackBerry Developer Conference. We’d love to see some figures now on how popular the app is, and how much music it’s selling to BlackBerry users – to see if the platform really is a big opportunity for music sales.
