French DJ Laurent Garnier has released an iPhone app offering his favourite new songs as a streamng playlist, as well as details of his upcoming DJ gigs and previous albums. The app is free – presumably Garnier is paying licensing costs on the tracks out of his own pocket. Meanwhile, the NME has launched a branded app focusing on Kings Of Leon – and specifically photos of the band taken by the magazine’s photographers since the start of their career.
