Many of the users flocking to video portal Vevo on its first day were disappointed – the sheer volume of traffic left the site sluggish – and in many cases inaccessible. Billboard highlights the dangers of leaving negative first impressions with users, while also pointing out that less than 15,000 videos were available on day one. For now, the site only works in North America, but PaidContent reports a spokesperson as saying “International launch, including the UK, planned for 2010. Stay tuned”. However, international users CAN watch Vevo-branded videos on YouTube, when the necessary rights are available. Source: VentureBeat Source: Billboard Source: PaidContent
