The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple’s purchase of Lala WILL lead to major changes to its iTunes store as soon as next year. It refers to Lala’s mode of letting customers buy and access music through their web browser, and cites unnamed sources as saying “Apple is considering adopting that same model for songs sold on iTunes”. It also states that Lala executives will be in “very significant roles” shaping the iTunes Store strategy.
