Burger King is targeting British men with a new site called Singing In The Shower. It features a daily video of a bikini-clad model, yes, singing in the shower – with visitors to the site able to vote on what song and bikini they want to see the next day. Really. Options for the former at the time of writing include tracks by Tiffany, Girls Aloud, Madonna, Britney Spears and Carly Simon. The campaign, which is promoting BK’s breakfast meals, has been criticised for being sexist. “Our research showed that breakfast is a male-centric audience for Burger King,” replies a spokesperson.
