MTV announced this weekend that Green Day: Rock Band is on the way to the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. That makes the punk-pop trio the new Beatles (sort of), although unlike The Beatles: Rock Band, all the songs from the Green Day game will be exportable into existing versions of Rock Band. Talking of the Beatles, MTV has just released more downloadable content for their game – the full Rubber Soul album. “It’s a really subtle album, so people who want that deep experience of playing through The Beatles’ whole career are going to really bond with the songs we have there,” says program manager John Drake.
