BACh has announced four deals with Chinese digital music companies to use its MusicDNA format, which it’s pitching as the successor to MP3. The companies included Aceway, which runs operator China Unicom’s music service, and R2G. “China is an extremely challenging music market with great potential. We are therefore very happy to equip our partners with the latest technology in their effort to turn consumers to legitimate music services,” says CEO Stefan Kohlmeyer. Source: Music Week
