Reuters has a long piece examining the performance and prospects of Nokia’s Comes With Music service, including contributions from Music Ally. But the killer quote comes from MKM Partners analyst Tero Kuittinen. “The time to really push for a premium service to compete with Apple was two to four years ago. I give it a year before they close it.” Nokia’s head of global music Liz Schimel counters that though: “We have received some great user feedback for the service. We take a long-term view of Comes With Music rather than seeing it as a short-term promotion.”
