US rapper Lil Wayne and his label will be raging this week, after his new album Rebirth found its way onto P2P networks two months before its scheduled release. How? It seems 500 copies were accidentally shipped to customers who’d pre-ordered by Amazon – and within 24 hours, it was all over BitTorrent. Watch out for a hastily brought-forward release date, and presumably some pointed conversations with the online retailer. Source: P2P On
