Rdio is one of the more anticipated music startups of 2010, given that its founders are Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom of Skype and Kazaa fame (or infamy, in the second case). They’ve said Rdio will be a subscription-based streaming music service that will launch in the US first, but today its iPhone app has gone live – albeit requiring a private beta login to use it. It sounds distinctly Spotify-esque, allowing people to search for and stream songs, or listen to their playlists on the go. Screenshots and more info in our blog post below. Source: Music Ally Blog
