Rdio is one of the more anticipated music startups of 2010, given that its founders are Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom of Skype and Kazaa fame. Rdio will be a subscription-based streaming music service that will launch in the US first, but today its iPhone app has gone live – albeit requiring a private beta login to use it. It sounds distinctly Spotify-esque, allowing people to search for and stream songs, or listen to their playlists on the go.
