When MySpace acquired the assets of streaming music service Imeem, users lost all their playlists, causing a storm of complaints. Licensing issues were the reason rather than a strategic decision by MySpace, but the company has provided users with an update on its efforts to return their playlists. “In the coming weeks, we will be emailing you with instructions on how to claim your playlists on MySpace Music, using your MySpace login,” says the company.
