US mobile operator Verizon Wireless has announced the launch of a series of videos from Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown tour on its V Cast Video portal. Six songs from the band’s 22 August gig were shot in HD and mobilised. Meanwhile, Verizon customers with a BlackBerry Tour or Storm smartphone can also download free live tracks from the band. And lastly, Verizon has launched a web contest called Green Day Masher, which lets fans remix songs from the band’s last album. Source: Press Release
