Analytics firm Flurry says there was a huge uplift in iPod touch downloads from Apple’s App Store on Christmas Day – jumping by 900% compared to the average of previous Fridays in December, as people unwrapped their presents and logged on. December was also a record-breaking month for the App Store, with downloads up more than 50% on the previous record month, November.
