2010 is looking like a big year for online music videos, but late last year we got some stats on two of the companies that will be involved. Hulu, which recently signed deals with EMI and WMG, says it’s now attracting more than 43 million monthly users – up 95% yar-on-year – notching up 924 million monthly streams. The site now has more than 200 content partners, and 408 advertisers and marketing partners. Meanwhile, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe says that its VidZone music videos service for PlayStation 3 has delivered more than 200 million video streams in its first six months of operation, with more than two million gamers having downloaded the application in 18 countries.
