Ford has announced plans to install HD radios in its cars, equipped with iTunes tagging technology. That means people will be able to tag songs they hear on the radio for later purchase on iTunes – the first time this technology has been pre-installed in cars. Up to 100 tags can be stored on the radios at once. When the driver connects their iPod, the list is synced across, allowing them to buy the tracks on iTunes. We’re going to hear a lot about digital music and in-car entertainment this year, so Ford’s move certainly won’t be the last. Source: 9 to 5 Mac
