Last year, P2P client FrostWire launched a new service called FrostClick, letting independent artists (legitimately) offer their albums for users to download as a promotion. The company now says that it’s topped more than one million downloads in just 21 weeks, with some artists racking up 75,000 individually. The service involves promoting the albums on the welcome screen of the FrostWire client. To celebrate, the company has launched a compilation album with songs from 21 of the artists who participated.
