Nokia and Apple are still going at it in the legal arena, following their existing lawsuit and countersuit over patent infringement. Now Nokia has widened the focus of the battle, with a new complaint to the US International Trade Commission claiming that Apple infringes seven of its patents in “virtually all of its mobile phones, portable music players, and computers”. The patents in question include user interface, camera, antenna and power management technologies. “The ITC case filed today is about Apple’s practice of building its business on Nokia’s proprietary innovation,” says Nokia’s general manager of patent licensing Paul Melin.
