Last year, WMG signed a deal with tech firm Cisco to use the latter’s Eos platform to create websites for its artists. Cisco has now provided an update on how the partnership is going. More than 20 WMG artists have sites, launching an average of one new one every week. Unique users are now 1.7 million – still pretty small, but growing. The average user spends around 8.4 minutes on an Eos-powered artist site, which WMG says is more than 25% higher than non-Eos sites. Oh, and the average transaction size has tripled. On the back of this growth, Cisco has signed two more music clients: All Access Today and Tenth Street Entertainment. Source: PaidContent
