Music search engine Songza has a new spin-off: Songza Sets. It’s a site offering free 12-song playlists created by users of the site in three categories – Mainstream Pop, American Roots, and Independent. “There is an abundance of good music online, but a lack of high-quality music programming,” says the company’s Peter Asbill. “With Songza Sets, we aim to offer that excellent listening experience – the kind that is original, relevant, informative, and thematic, but pleasantly unpredictable.” Songza is also launching a service called Songza Radio, which at the time of writing isn’t live.
