Universal Music Group held the largest chunk of the market in regards to albums and track equivalent album (TEA) sales with 30.7%, down from 32.2% year-on-year. Sony Music Entertainment came in a close(r) second with 28% compared to 24.4% last year. Warner Music Group camethird with 20.3%. The indies collectively came in fourth with 12.2%. EMI came in fifth with 8.8%.
